The Prince of Wales Plans to Join COP30 Climate Summit in Brazil
The Prince of Wales plans to participate in the United Nations climate conference in South America during November, as announced by palace sources.
Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday evening at a reception preceding the environmental conference, which is set to be held in the northern Brazilian city of Belém.
The royal pair were in attendance at the museum gathering, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a climate summit preparatory event arranged together with the UK government.
Environmental Advocacy Dedication
King Charles has been a longstanding advocate of biodiversity preservation - and Prince William has assumed the responsibility, with his own Earthshot awards, which will be held in Brazil preceding the climate conference.
Official representatives have characterized William's involvement at the upcoming climate summit as taking on an important role in "environmental negotiations".
Recent Engagements
The King and Prince of Wales, making a joint entrance in the official car, were welcomed guests including conservation experts, scientists, environmental activists, foreign representatives and politicians.
This engagement featured addresses in concert with French leader Macron of the French Republic and other international figures at the Marine Economy Conference in Monaco during the current year.

The UN meeting will coincide with the prince's own Earthshot environmental awards, which will finish in Rio de Janeiro the previous day he participates in the COP summit on November 6th.

The King has been a influential participant at earlier environmental conferences, giving the opening address in Dubai for the 28th Conference of Parties, including the statement: "We are custodians of the planet, not its owners".
"Throughout my life I've dedicated a significant amount of my life trying to raise awareness about the survival risks challenging our world over global warming, global temperature increases and biodiversity loss," the sovereign addressed participants.
